Serving Together in His Name
Our ministries are the hands and feet of Pilgrim Baptist Church — each one called to a unique purpose, united by one faith, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to serve our congregation and community.

Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry serves young people by helping them grow in faith through Sunday School, worship services, and gospel-centered events. We encourage and challenge our young people to live out the principles of the Bible — becoming leaders and cultural influencers in their schools, communities, families, and the church.
“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” -1 Timothy 4:12 (ESV)

Leader: Avis Rankin Lassiter
Culinary Ministry
The Culinary Ministry oversees the operation of the kitchen — its use, cleanliness, and maintenance of all equipment. We establish and maintain policies and procedures for kitchen use, and are committed to practicing high-quality standards required for health and safety relative to the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
Leader: Elizabeth Wilkerson
First Aid Ministry
Composed of healthcare professionals who volunteer to serve the body of believers at scheduled services and special events. We foster physical, spiritual, and emotional harmony — providing temporary aid, educational information, and working closely with the Ushers and Hospitality Committee.
LEADER: SIS. MELISSA ASHLEY
Dance Ministry
The Dance Ministry exists to equip women and men of all ages and skill levels to usher in the presence of God through movement and expression. Through worship dance, members use their gifts to glorify God, encourage the congregation, and help communicate the message of Christ in a creative and meaningful way.
LEADER: BRO. EMMANUEL MAYO
Media Ministry
The Media Ministry handles all audio and video operations, capturing and broadcasting the Word of God so our services reach beyond the walls of the sanctuary. Through sound, livestreaming, presentation media, and video production, this ministry helps create a clear and engaging worship experience for both in person and online audiences. Their work allows members, visitors, and those unable to attend to stay connected to the life and message of the church.
